Meet Vanessa
You might be here because the practical weight of what you’re carrying has become too much. That’s why I created Helpful Help Support™.
My background as a mental health first aider, caregiver, bereaved daughter, and neurodivergent person has shaped the thoughtful and practical support I offer. I’ve experienced the overwhelm that comes from juggling grief, responsibility, and daily demands.
I’m not a therapist. I’m someone who shows up, helps you navigate complex decisions, and gets things done with steadiness and empathy, at your pace. Discretion and respect for your privacy are at the heart of my approach.

Training & Qualifications.
Here’s how my background supports the work I do:
Certified Mental Health First Aider (MHFA England®)
Cruse Bereavement Support Foundation Course (32 hours), Quality Checked by the National Counselling Society (training includes safeguarding, self-care, and working with suicidal clients remotely)
DBS checked
I’ve coordinated and managed people-centred support in a range of settings, including outreach and community wellbeing projects. My focus is on making a practical difference in ways that feel manageable and tailored to you.
